The Energy Performance Certificate Survey The survey for a domestic EPC takes around 30 minutes to an hour. We will agree an appointment date and time and outline the areas the Assessor needs to inspect. Briefly these are the heating, lighting and glazing in each room of the property. The assessor will need access to the hot water cylinder, if your system has one, and will need to look at the boiler and any other heat source. The depth of loft insulation will also need to be checked. The property will then be accurately measured and photographed before the details are put through the software to determine the property efficiency rating. The best way to arrange an EPC is to ring or email us when you will be informed as to the earliest the survey can be done, and the price you pay. Once the EPC is produced you will get it as an emailed PDF, and a paper copy posted to you or your agent if you wish. |
